What to buy

We sell software. The computer is yours.

Centurion runs on Linux. Below is exactly what we recommend buying — or a certified support partner will supply the hardware, set it up, and support it for you.

Every Centurion runs on Linux. That is why there is no meter and no per-question charge: the work happens on your machine, not on ours.

Centurion Brain — a mini computer

The agent is light. A small, quiet computer that stays on your desk and stays switched on.

What we recommend

A small Linux mini computer with Linux already installed — 32 GB of memory or more, and a 2 TB solid-state drive or larger. Buy it with Linux on it and it works out of the box.

The cheaper route

A bare-bones mini computer plus your own memory and drive. It costs less, but you assemble it and install Linux yourself.

What we will support

Any 64-bit Linux machine, 16 GB of memory, 512 GB of solid-state storage, and a wired or reliable wireless connection. Below that we will not certify it.

Centurion Core — a mini server

Core runs the AI itself, and keeps your files. It needs two things an ordinary computer has not got: memory to run a large model, and proper storage for everything the business holds. So it is a small server, not a desktop.

What we recommend

A small tower server with graphics memory and room for drives. Around 48 GB of graphics memory runs a large model properly — the point where nobody compares it to a chatbot. Room for two to four drives gives you the storage to keep your own files, and to back them up.

The smaller option

Around 32 GB of graphics memory works and it is the cheapest way in. It handles smaller models well. If the work is demanding, step up.

One box instead of two

A single machine can run the agent and the AI and hold the storage, so you run one computer instead of two. It costs more up front and it is the neatest setup to live with.

Hardware prices move constantly and we do not sell hardware. Check the current price with the supplier before you buy.

Centurion Remote — your phone

There is nothing to buy. The app is free, and it works on iPhone and Android. It reaches your own machine from wherever you are, and it still goes nowhere near anybody else's servers.

Don't want to think about any of this?

A certified Centurion support partner will choose the hardware, buy it, install Centurion, set it up, and look after it. You just use it.
