Part of your Brain that works out who you are connected to was not working — it asked for a piece of the program that is not in it. The screen that sends a message asks it who you can send to and got nothing back, so the Send box never appeared, even on a link that was working perfectly. That part, and the Test button beside each name, are both repaired.
When two Brains are connected, the app reads the list of who you are connected to and draws the message box from it. That list was coming back empty because the part of the Brain responsible for it referred to a piece of the program that does not exist. So the two machines could be paired, holding the same secret, able to deliver a message — and the screen showed no way to send one. It now reads that list straight from the record the Brain actually delivers to, so what you see and where a message goes can no longer disagree.
The Test button beside a connected name asked the same missing part of the program, so it had never once given an answer. It now asks the other Brain directly whether it is awake, and it tells the difference between a machine that is asleep and a machine that is up but does not recognise your secret — because those are two different problems with two different fixes. Press Test and you get a sentence, not silence.
Your Centurion can be paired and still show you no way to speak until this update is on. If you connect to someone whose machine is older, send them the update too — the repair is on the side that draws the box, and that is each owner’s own machine.
One download, one install. No terminal.
- 1Sign in and open Account → Get Brain. Your download sits at the top of the page.
- 2Double-click the downloaded file and choose Install. Fedora may ask for your password — that prompt is your computer, not us.
- 3Reopen Sovereign AI Brain. It sets its own services up and starts them. Nothing else to run.
- 4Check the download first if you like: the sha256 above is the exact file we published.
Signed with Centurion’s release key. No reboot is needed — reopening the Brain is enough. Your data, your Soul and your sessions are untouched by this update.
Fedora’s Software app labels anything it does not recognise as Provided by a third party. That is a statement about provenance, not about Centurion — every vendor package installed this way is labelled the same. Our builds are signed with Centurion’s release key, and the values below let you check that what arrived is what we published.
